CREATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL LAW. STUDY ON THE EMERGENCE OF A LEGAL ORDER
2009
According to a prevailing view, the law of international criminal jurisdictions constitutes a branch of public international law. Über die Verfügbarmachung des Mythos für die Symbolisierung politischer Zeitgeschichte. Ilse Langners Drama "Iphigenie und Orest"
2020
Ilse Langner's drama "Iphigenie und Orest (1977 manuscript) pivots on a historical sequence of events: war, rescue and exile, merciless revenge after the war. Why is the plot set in a Greek mythological setting? The use of myth considerably extends the frame of references, which in turn necessarily surpasses documentary correctness. The dramatist already provided a world model to the dramatist of the Atreidean myth, which focuses on basic questions of violence-stricken human existence (while Goethe formed Iphigenie as a model of humanitarianism that overcomes violence). Langner's Anti-Iphigenie shows the spiral of violence as a challenge for the post-idealist 20th century.
